The wedding ceremony may be civil or religious, and their development is different in both cases.
The civil ceremony consists of greeting, presentation, reading the agreement, delivery of the rings (if desired since it is not mandatory) and signature of the parties authorized.
For a religious wedding, the ceremony may consist of a small part of religious ritual and consent, or may consist of the celebration of Mass, in which case the normal development is followed by a Mass by adding the time of mutual consent of the couple that occurs after the intercessions or prayers.
