Non-Catholic Wedding Ceremony

Of the world's Catholics, 50% are American, while in Europe only 25% are. The rest are loyal to other religions or non-Catholic beliefs and celebrate the union in marriage according to their faiths.

Hindu rite
There are different types Hindu wedding, the Bengali, nikaah Muslim, Sikh said, Tamil marriage and Gujarati garba. Every wedding contains many Hindu customs and rituals that take place in family. The elements governing a Hindu wedding are written in 'The Vedas'.

Buddhist Rite
Buddhism as such, has no concept of marriage and bringing together Eastern traditions of other cultures based on spirituality. Priests do astral reading of the couple, who for one hour sing a psalm. Placed in 'wai' (posture of respect) are blessed by the priest. The couple have to make an offering (food) both Buddha and the monks.

Gypsy Wedding
Gypsy Weddings last three days. The first day, day of 'Ajuntamiento' test is performed handkerchief or three roses. The second day was made at the same time and among other rituals, the wedding and reception. The third day starts early in the morning the feast of sardines, a new feast in which everyone participates. The fourth day the couple will honeymoon.

Orthodox Wedding
An Orthodox wedding is very similar to a Catholic wedding. Included among their customs taxation between couples of crowns, a symbol that own their lives and turn around three times about themselves.

Protestant rite
Although there are several churches within the Protestant, in general, Protestants do not consider marriage a sacrament. Protestants need the civil record of marriage to marry in church. Moreover, the ceremony is nearly identical to the Catholic.

Hebrew rite

With the couple under the 'chuppah', Rabbi blesses them, read the terms previously agreed and signed marriage while the couple placed the rings and groom recites the 'Hare at Mekudesht'. They have the tradition of breaking a glass after the wedding as a symbol of joy and sorrow.

Oriental Wedding
The oriental wedding celebrations are usually unostentatious, marked throughout by red, symbol of love, prosperity and joy. The families of the bride and groom exchange gifts a few days before the celebration.
