For the church wedding, the couple must go to the office of the parish church where they want to marry and order date. Both the bride and groom need to marry the Baptismal Certificate (or birth certificate), which must be ordered with or modified up to 3 months as it expires, and the marriage record that should be requested in the parish of the town of which comes from each of the intending spouses.

You also need a birth certificate, provided by the registry office in the province where each couple is born. They are also required the marriage certificate, if you're getting married in another diocese to which you are registered / certified to and premarital workshops.

These documents must be carried to the church where the ceremony will be held from there, once held the wedding and having signed the witnesses are sent to the registry office and so the couple remain officially registered as a marriage. For a church wedding need at least one witness for each contracting party.

In the case of civil marriage, you have to make an appointment in advance for a judge or the mayor marry the couple. The documents necessary for a civil marriage are:

• Photocopies of identity card, passport
• Literal birth certificate date, issued by the civil registration of place of birth
• The certificate of residence, obtained at the town hall of the population where it has resided for the past two years
• The certificate of nationality
• The marriage certificate, which is an affidavit of marital status that makes it easy to court
• Fill in the instance of the Civil Registry
• Leave of court for less than 18 years.

These documents must be submitted in sealed paper and are valid for 6 months. Once the documentation has been filed, the city council publish the banns for three consecutive weeks. After three weeks, the couple with the certificate that the banns have been published, are presented in the town hall with two witnesses to sign the agreement.

The civil ceremony can be held in the halls of City Hall, headquarters of the municipal districts or civil registration lasts about 15 minutes and the presiding judge with a secretary. The judge read aloud the names of the parties and witnesses and remembers the duties and rights of those who marry and asks the couple to make a commitment. The exchange of rings can be done, but not required. Then, sign the register with two witnesses. Finally the judge gives them the family book.
